Saint-Dionisy is a French commune with 1,070 inhabitants in the Gard department in the Occitanie region. The commune belongs to the Nîmes arrondissement and the Saint-Gilles canton. The inhabitants are called Saint-Dionizyens. Saint-Dionisy is located about ten kilometers west-southwest of Nîmes and about 35 kilometers northeast of Montpellier. Saint-Dionisy is surrounded by the neighboring communes of Clarensac to the north, Langlade to the east, Nages-et-Solorgues to the south, Calvisson to the west, and Saint-Côme-et-Maruéjols to the northwest.
