Laroque, in Occitan La Ròca, is a French commune located in the northeast of the Hérault department in the Occitanie region. Exposed to a Mediterranean climate, it is drained by the Hérault, the Rieutord, the Merdanson, and by two other streams. The commune has remarkable natural heritage: a Natura 2000 site and two natural areas of ecological, faunistic, and floristic interest. Its inhabitants are called the Laroquois.
