Denting is a French commune located in the Moselle department and the Moselle-est living area, in the Grand Est region.
The village is situated between Coume and Boulay-Moselle, the chief town of Boulay. A secondary road connects the neighboring village of Téterchen. The locality is crossed by the Kaltbach stream.
