The Institut de France, located in the former Collège des Quatre-Nations in Paris, is an architectural masterpiece. Founded by Cardinal Mazarin between 1662 and 1688, it has been home to five renowned academies since 1795: the Académie française, des inscriptions et belles-lettres, des sciences, des beaux-arts and des sciences morales et politiques. It houses cultural treasures such as the Bibliothèque Mazarine and prestigious museums, contributing to culture and knowledge in France.
