The Valsberg Pass is a pass in the Vosges massif representing the natural border between the Moselle department and the Bas-Rhin department.
The departmental road 143 leading to the Valsberg Pass from the eastern slope crosses the villages of Romanswiller and Obersteigen. The ascent is 10.7 km long with an average grade of 4.5%. Carved into the collapse of the Alsace plain, the road is winding and has a very irregular slope.
