Description

The valley from Vaison-la-Romaine to Beaumont-du-Ventoux is particularly fertile. In autumn, the vines turn yellow and red.
The last kilometers were very flat, but that is about to change. We start on a long slope with a double top.
After a few kilometers and after two hairpin bends, we arrive at the first summit. This is the Col des Astauds. This is followed by a fast and beautiful descent through a gorge to climb up again on the other side. This time there are three hairpin bends to the top. This is the Col de Gainons. The slopes are perfect for learning to climb. They are also ideal for descending.
There is now a fast descent with seven hairpin bends. So paying attention is blown.
