The mountain village lies about 5 kilometers from Pernes, on a rock surrounded by forests and valleys. The village offers many beautiful views of the region.
Remains from the Stone and Bronze Age prove that this village has been inhabited since long ago.
It is dominated by a castle from the 11th century that has been extensively remodeled and restored. Unfortunately, the castle is not open to the public. The village has a rich past with periods of glory, but also of decline and reconstruction.
Today, it's pleasant to stroll through the cobbled alleys of the village.
At the back of the castle, we take a path that leads us past some villas. At the end, we turn left down towards Saint-Didier. A little half kilometer further, we turn right. This road winds its way to the next village: Le Baucet.
