The Museum of Château-Thierry, housed in a historical monument of the Renaissance, is the birthplace of Jean de La Fontaine and dedicated to the writer and his fables. The museum is located in the former rue des Cordeliers, which was located in the beautiful district of the city in the 17th century. When you walk out of the main street, you arrive at the place where a castle used to be. Nearby is a reconstructed medieval village, where activities are organized by people in costumes from that time.
