Founded in 945, the Benedictine abbey is perfectly preserved. It houses the great Boizard organs of 1714 and wall paintings evoking the life of Saint Benedict, recently discovered in the cloister. Located in the outbuildings of the abbey, the museum of rural and forestry life contains important collections on basketry and wood exploitation. More than 15,000 objects are housed there. A few kilometres away, you will find the Familistère de Guise, the fortified churches of Thiérache in a large green area.
