A monumental staircase leads you to the largest fortified church of the Thiérache, which was built in the middle of the 16th century.
This fortification structure has two large brick towers with stone underwalls, embrasures, watchtowers and pepper cans that, according to tradition, served as a commandery for the Templars, which explains the originality of its floor plan in the form of a Greek cross.
We therefore propose you to discover this church, which was not spared by wars.
