The Steene distillery was one of the first examples of vertical integration in the industry. The château and its outbuildings, built at the end of the 18th century, unexpectedly offer at the back a park with its icehouse, a vast rectangular pond, former orchards, vegetable gardens, and meadows over 7 hectares. The park redesigned "in the English style" in the 19th century is characterized by its clusters of trees, clearings, and viewpoints. There is an elm that survived Dutch elm disease and several purple beeches, behind the walls the squares of boxwoods and yews are in topiary, the pond is adorned with old rose bushes.
