The most striking building is the former Hôtel des Fermes. Currently, the sub-prefecture is located here. The square was laid out in the 18th century. The rooftops with balustrades and arched galleries are striking. During the French Revolution, the statue of Louis XV was destroyed. The current statue dates from the 19th century.
