Holque is a French commune, located in the Nord department in the Hauts-de-France region. The climate characterizing the commune was classified, in 2010, as "altered oceanic climate," according to the climate typology of France, which then counted eight main types of climates in the metropolitan area. In 2020, the commune falls under the same type of climate in the classification established by Météo-France, which now considers only five main types of climates in the metropolitan area at first glance. It is a transition zone between oceanic climate, mountain climate, and semi-continental climate. The temperature differences between winter and summer increase with distance from the sea. Rainfall is lower than at the seaside, except near the reliefs.
