Bécon-les-Granits

Bécon-les-Granits is a western French commune with 2,789 inhabitants in the Maine-et-Loire department in the Pays de la Loire region. Bécon-les-Granits belongs to the Segré and the Chalonnes-sur-Loire canton. The inhabitants are called Béconnais. Bécon-les-Granits is located about 18 kilometers west-northwest of Angers along the Romme River. Bécon-les-Granits is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Erdre-en-Anjou to the north, Saint-Clément-de-la-Place to the northeast, Saint-Lambert-la-Potherie to the east and southeast, Saint-Léger-de-Linières with Saint-Léger-des-Bois to the southeast, Saint-Augustin-des-Bois to the south, Villemoisan to the southwest, and Val d’Erdre-Auxence to the northwest.
