Damazan is a municipality with 1,357 inhabitants in France in the Lot-et-Garonne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The municipality belongs to the Nérac arrondissement and the Lavardac canton. The inhabitants are called Damazanais. Damazan is located about 29 kilometers west-northwest of Agen in the Buzet wine-growing region. Damazan is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Puch-d'Agenais to the north, Saint-Léger to the east, Buzet-sur-Baïse to the south and southeast, Saint-Pierre-de-Buzet to the south, Caubeyres to the southwest, and Saint-Léon to the west.
