Merris is a municipality in the French Westhoek, in the French department of Nord. The municipality is located in French Flanders in the region of Houtland. It borders the municipalities of Meteren, Belle, Oud-Berkijn, and Strazele. On the north side of Merris, the railway line for the TGV between Lille and Calais passes through, and on the south side, the railway line for regular trains between Lille and Hazebrouck runs. The Meterenbeek flows through Merris. The municipality has more than 1,000 inhabitants.
