Description

The highest summit of the Pyrénées-Orientales, it is located in the commune of Angoustrine-Villeneuve-des-Escaldes. The Carlit culminates at 2921 meters of altitude and offers an exceptional panorama. Its ascent can be done by the Bouillouses allowing to discover a succession of magnificent lakes making the hike unique. The river Têt has its source at the foot of its summit.
