The President Jacques Chirac Museum houses the 5,000 diplomatic gifts presented to the President between 1995 and 2007. Jacques Chirac in turn donated them to the Corrèze Departmental Council. They are on display in the heart of the Visitor Reserve.
In addition to this initial function, there is now a desire to show visitors what makes the President of the Republic who he is. This transformation began in 2023 with the reconstruction of the Presidents' office at the Élysée Palace. The transformation will continue in 2024 with the opening of the "Presidential Gallery", which will showcase the institutions, the travels of the Heads of State, the symbols of the Republic, personal objects and diplomatic gifts presented to the 8 Presidents of the Fifth Republic.
Temporary exhibitions will also be on show.
