The dunes of Plouhinec or dunes of Mat Fenoux are protected dunes located in the municipality of Plouhinec in the Morbihan department. These dunes are a subset of the Gâvres-Quiberon dune massif that stretches between the Gâvres peninsula and the Penthièvre fort. The coastal flora includes many species: fungi, mosses, ferns, flowering plants. Inland, brambles, gorse, tamarisks, sloe, pines, and cypress grow easily. The Loesel's orchid, a rare variety of orchid, thrives in the margins of wetland areas.
