The Abbey of Saint-Vanne was a Benedictine abbey located in Verdun, in the Meuse department of the Grand Est region.
Founded in 952, the abbey became a center of monastic reform in the 11th century in Lorraine under the abbacy of Richard of Saint-Vanne. In the 17th century, Prior Didier de La Cour initiated a new reform that led to the creation of the Congregation of Saint-Vanne and Saint-Hydulphe, which would include up to fifty abbeys. After the Revolution, the abbey was abandoned in 1792. In the 19th century, it was partially destroyed, and only a few remnants remain, including the North tower.
