The Nantua viaduct is a highway bridge that allows the A40 motorway to connect Mâcon to Annemasse and then to Saint-Gervais-les-Bains by crossing the Nantua valley at the exit of the Chamoise tunnel. As a result, the viaduct crosses the small stream of the Oignin. The first section was opened to traffic in 1985, followed by the second in 1996.
