The Sainte-Croix dam is a dam that impounds the Verdon in France at the border of the departments of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Var, forming the Lac de Sainte-Croix. The arch dam was built from 1971 to 1974. For the reservoir, the village of Les Salles-sur-Verdon was rebuilt 400 meters away from its original location. The dam, which has a maximum height of 95 m, is 133 m long with a masonry volume of 55,000 m³.
