Gare du Nord, in the 10th arrondissement, is Europe?s 1st and the world?s 3rd busiest in terms of visitors. With over 220 million passengers a year, it serves the north of France and international destinations. Inaugurated on June 14, 1846, it features a modern neoclassical style, with a façade adorned with twenty-three statues by renowned sculptors. It comprises four areas: the Eurostar Terminal, the Quai Transversal for catering, and levels -1 and -2 for passengers.
