The Briare viaduct is a French bowstring arch bridge that allows the A77 motorway to cross the Briare canal and the Trézée river in the territory of the municipality of Briare, in the Loiret department and the Centre-Val de Loire region. This structure is unique because it features only a single central arch with radiating suspenders. With its 86 meters of span, it was, like the identical Pannes viaduct, the structure of this type with the greatest span in Europe.
