The Château de Nicolas d'Avesnes is a castle in the commune of Condé-sur-l'Escaut in northern France.
Condé-sur-l'Escaut has three particular castles: that of Emmanuel de Croÿ, nestled in the heart of the Bonsecours national forest; that of Bailleul, whose existence is attested from the fourteenth century; the one that Nicolas, lord of Avesnes and Condé, had erected in the middle of the twelfth century on the site of Notre-Dame de Condé on the confluence Haine - Scheldt, where the Normans had entrenched themselves at the end of the ninth century.
