Musée Verlaine

Situated opposite the house Verlaine rented, not far from his farm, the Auberge is now the Musée Verlaine. In this "lodge on foot and on horseback", the furniture has not moved, time has stood still and the soul has remained intact. Much more than a simple evocation of the poet, this 1500m² site will take you back to his life and work, thanks to a unique iconographic collection, a high-quality guided tour, the complete works (prose, poetry and correspondence) and, of course, the unique atmosphere you feel as soon as you cross the threshold. After your visit, you'll still have to discover the 1000m² old garden, the temporary exhibitions and the bistro.
