The underground tunnel of Pouilly-en-Auxois or vault of the Burgundy canal is a 3,333-meter-long canal tunnel located in Pouilly-en-Auxois and Créancey, in Côte-d'Or, managed by the French Waterways. Built starting in 1775, the Burgundy canal links the Yonne to the Saône. The watershed between the Seine basin and that of the Rhône is located in the Pouilly region, marked by the Morvan-Vosges threshold. It is also in Pouilly, in the long tunnel of 3,333 meters long, that the canal passes from one to the other. For more than seven years, miner workers dug this underground tunnel.
