Built in 1267, as revealed by dendrochronological analyses carried out in 2012 on the initiative of the commune, this building is remarkable for its multiple functions, since it housed the choir of the primitive church, a living space and a defensive system. The bell tower of the Saint-Sébastien church in Obermorschwiller is one of the oldest buildings in the Sundgau region still in use.
In summer, visits of Obermorschwiller, its church and its bell tower, are organized within the framework of the summer animations proposed by the Sundgau Tourist Office.
Visits for groups are possible on request.
Also open during local events.
