The Château des Rohan, formerly known as "The Little Alsatian Versailles", is located in the centre of Saverne, along the Canal de la Marne au Rhin.
Built in the 13th century and restored in the 19th century on the initiative of Napoleon III, this former episcopal castle now houses a museum, a cultural relay, a youth hostel and a school.
The façade (park side), made of pink sandstone in neo-classical style, is 140 metres long, equivalent to the horizontal height of Strasbourg Cathedral.
Admire the view of the castle from the park and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Marina!
Discover all its secrets by visiting the museum (art and history, archaeology and Louise Weiss' collections).
