The Dolmen de Frébouchère is the most important dolmen in this region. It is 9 m long and 5 m wide, and its total weight is estimated to be over 100 tons. The chamber inside is 7 m long, and the capstone weighs about 80 tons. The capstone originally consisted of one piece but is said to have been split in two by lightning. Throughout history, it is believed to have been "restored" a great deal, making it unclear how it originally would have looked.
