Description

Located on the Place du Trocadero, within the Palais de Chaillot, the Cité-Musée traces 1,000 years of architectural and heritage history, from the Middle Ages to the present day. Visitors can admire a reproduction of the portal of Chartres Cathedral and an apartment from Le Corbusier's Cité Radieuse. Models, videos and drawings enhance the tour and offer food for thought on urban planning in the past, present and future. The site also hosts temporary exhibitions.
