The Montagne de Reims, also known as "Grande Montagne de Reims," is a hill south of Reims in France. It is a "Parc Naturel Régional" and is covered with grain and forests. The forests are rich in wildlife.
Along the slopes of the 288-meter high "mountain" are vineyards where the grapes for champagne can be grown. Often, but not exclusively, these are pinot noir grapes. The south-facing vineyards transition into those of the Marne Valley.
