The church was restored after the First World War, but it shows traces of the 16th century. At the entrance to the churchyard is the tombstone of General Sherer, Minister of War, who died in 1804. This church also has beautiful stained glass windows made by the Dutch artist Miren Deen, dating from 1954 and representing the Annunciation.
