The Sénéchas dam is a flood control dam on the Cèze River, straddling the Ardèche and Gard regions.
Contrary to its name, it is not located in the municipality of Sénéchas but straddles the municipalities of Malbosc on the north side and Chambon on the south side. The municipality of Sénéchas begins 95 m upstream from the dam.
Chambon, and thus the southern half of the dam, is part of the catchment area of the Cévennes National Park.
