The Gorges d'Apremont, freely translated as the slopes of the rugged mountains, is a special landscape to discover on foot. The bike will have to be put aside for a while if you want to follow the path of Orpheus.
Orpheus is a hero of Greek mythology, the son of the king of Thrace and his muse Calliope. He inspired a religious movement called "Orphism". Orpheus knew how to use the music of his lyre to move wild animals into lifeless creatures.
