Discovered in 1905 by scientist and biospeleologist Armand VIRÉ. The cave has been open to visitors since 1906.
Since 1961, access has been by electric train. This climbs 400 meters underground to take you to the heart of the hill.
The visit is on foot with a guide. Right from the start, in the Chaos Room, you'll discover the wonderful world of the center of the Earth. Over 150 million years of history, crystals, fairytale worlds and legendary animals follow one another for an hour and a quarter. Your visit ends in the Hall of Wonders, 2,000 square meters of black light where phosphorescent concretions fill the silence.
