Rocher du Cire

Description

In the book 'The Convert' by Stefan Hertmans, an explanation is given on page 1 for the name of the Rocher du Cire: 'The famous Rocher du Cire - the steep, monumental rock where high and inaccessible the bees swarm and the stone in the summer sun sometimes literally shines with the honey that drips from the rock face - is still unapproachable and desolate, massively sunk in the ochten nebula'.
