While the history of the Château du Tertre goes back centuries, it was in 1855, after its classification as a First Growth, that the estate began to build an international reputation. Since then, the vineyard's 52 hectares have hardly changed: the vines still bask in the timeless médocain sun as they always have. This is a magnificently authentic setting, where visitors feel at one with nature as they admire the architecture and the rows of vines that are visible from each and every room.
