Housed in a modern building inaugurated in 1973, the museum presents three sections relating to local history: the arrest of Louis XVI and the royal family, popular arts and traditions (earthenware, glassware, sigillated pottery), and an evocation of the 1914-1918 war and the fighting in the Argonne (including the mine war). The "La Grande Guerre en 3D" (The Great War in 3D) exhibition takes you back to the battlefield of the First World War, through the projection of large-format 3D images. The "Marie-Antoinette" room features 9 paintings depicting the queen at different periods in her life.
