The Petit Palais is an architectural jewel, built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition. Converted into a fine arts museum in 1902, the works it houses (sculptures, paintings, tapestries, etc.) offer a broad artistic panorama, from Antiquity to the beginning of the 20th century. One can discover the collection of paintings by 19th century masters: Delacroix, Monet, Renoir, Courbet... The garden, with its colonnades, its mosaic-paved ponds and its flowering bosquets, is an invitation to calm and reverie.
