Cycling at the Planche des Belles Filles, a summit of the Vosges mountains straddling the Territoire de Belfort and Haute-Saône, has been practiced competitively since the 1990s with the Trois Balls cyclosportive. She gained fame from the early 2010s thanks to the Tour de France, whose Planche des Belles Filles has become a "classic", even a "must", with six climbs between 2012 and 2022.
