The Monument National de la Victoire de la Marne is a monument commemorating the First Battle of the Marne and perpetuates the memory of the soldiers who fought from 6 to 12 September 1914 during this battle of the First World War. Located in the commune of Mondement-Montgivroux in the south-west of the Marne, nine kilometres from Sézanne, the site includes in addition to the national monument, a local museum, the village church and cemetery, as well as the castle.
