The Saint-Cyprien inner square is a square in the historic center of Toulouse, France. It is located in the Saint-Cyprien district, in sector 2 of the city. It belongs to the protected sector of Toulouse. This rectangular square, one of the largest in the city at the time of its creation, is characteristic of urban planning in the second half of the 18th century: a true square with a program, designed in the neoclassical style according to the plans of engineer Joseph-Marie de Saget, who was also responsible for other projects in the city, it creates a new monumental entrance to the city, aligned with the Pont-Neuf. Despite the incomplete plan of Saget and the reconstructions in the following centuries, the square has retained the appearance it had at the end of the 18th century and has been protected since April 18, 1944, through its inclusion on the list of classified sites.
