The hill of the Two Lovers, at the confluence of the Seine and the Andelle, is located in the territory of Romilly-sur-Andelle.
The hill is the result of the excavation of the concave bank of the Seine into the plateau, highlighted by the confluence with the Andelle. Like the reliefs of the area, it rises to about 100 meters above the level of the river with a regular and grassy slope of about 45 degrees. It overlooks the site of the Poses dam and the lake of the Two Lovers, an artificial pond of 400 hectares resulting from the exploitation of gravel pits. This fairly unremarkable relief is mainly known for the legend associated with it.
