Located between Rouen and Le Havre, the regional nature park of the loops of the Normandy Seine (former name: Brotonne regional nature park), is a regional nature park created on May 17, 1974 with an area of 80,000 hectares and 72 municipalities + 2 towns. It has a wide variety of natural and human environments because it extends over the Roumois, the Risle Valley, the loops of the Seine downstream of Rouen with their small side rivals, the Brotonne loop, the marshes of the estuary, the marsh Vernier and the southern part of the Pays de Caux. We find in particular:
marsh: vernier marsh, Vallon du Vivier nature reserve
forests: national forest of Brotonne, national forest of Trait-Maulévrier, national forest of Roumare
abbeys: Jumièges abbey, Saint-Wandrille abbey, Saint-Georges-de-Boscherville abbey
craft: bread oven (The Hague-van-Routot), Linen house (Routot), wooden shoe museum (Haag-van-Routot), the stone mill (Hauville), beekeeping.
Castles: Etelan castle in Saint-Maurice-d'Ételan, Yville-sur-Seine castle, Taillis castle in Duclair.
