Livradois-Forez Regional Park is a regional natural park located in three French departments: the Puy-de-Dôme, the Haute-Loire and the Loire.
The two most important urban areas of the park are Thiers (19,000 inhabitants) and Ambert (11,000 inhabitants). Courpière, Billom and Vic-le-Comte have a secondary place in the territory.
The park is a mixed syndicate, which includes the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the departments of Puy-de-Dôme, Haute-Loire, Loire, 24 EPCI (public institutions for inter-municipal cooperation) and 164 area labeled regional nature park plus 4 associated municipalities.
Since March 2008, it has been chaired by Tony Bernard, mayor of Châteldon1.
The labeled area of the park covers an area of 311,035 hectares2. The population is 103,948 inhabitants2.
