The Gardon is a river that weaves wide loops through the St-Nicolas plateau between Russan and the St-Nicolas bridge. Over time, the Gardon carves out the most beautiful cliffs of the canyon to form the gorges of the Gardon, near Uzès. The ridge line offers views everywhere of the gorges, the plain, and the Cévennes, especially from the panoramic site of Castellas. Beautiful walks and hikes are a way to discover this exceptional site in the Pays d'Uzès. Take advantage of negotiated rates for your group and individual stays.
