Discover the upper town, fortified according to Vauban's plans from 1679, and follow in the footsteps of this military genius by visiting Longwy's fortifications: the Puits de Siège, Place Darche, the town hall, Saint Dagobert church, the former military bakery (which houses the Musée des Émaux), the Porte de France, an underground passage, a powder magazine...

Guided tours on Wednesdays and Fridays at 3.30pm by prior arrangement for individuals with a minimum of 4 paying guests, and all year round by prior arrangement (one week in advance) for individuals (with a minimum of 4 paying guests on weekdays and 10 paying guests on weekends) and groups.
Fun tours (riddles) with the Randoland booklet on sale at the tourist office.

Longwy is part of the Réseau des Sites Majeurs de Vauban. Since July 7, 2008, the Réseau des Sites Majeurs Vauban has been on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
