Fontenoy-la-Joûte, Book Village, welcomes thousands of visitors every year. 12 professional Bouquinistes, 1 Calligrapher and 1 Craftsman have transformed the old farmhouses into shops, which now house hundreds of thousands of old books as well as second hand books for all budgets. In the former Printing House resides a pleasant Restaurant, which opened in May 2015.
This typical Lorraine village, dating from the 12th century, has a population of 280 and is located 10 minutes (by car) from Baccarat, the city of crystal. You can see the Saint-Pierre chapel (13th century) at the top of the village.
The Book Village of Fontenoy-la-Joûte is open every day, all year round.
