To better understand and appreciate the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, visit the museum created in a beautiful mediaeval residence. Here you’ll find out all about life and work in bygone days. Woodturner, washerwoman, clog maker... are all represented alongside life-size “santons” (ornamental figures). It’s a visit you won’t forget. There is also a pleasant tea room serving delicious food in a private garden outside the restored house.
Sipping tea in this peaceful spot, you will appreciate the tranquillity of this lovely village.
